Over-charge, over-voltage, reverse polarity, and anti-sparking (short circuit) protections are all built in to the iOnBoost V8 Torque to make sure that you are able to use the device safely. If you connect the SMART Cables to the battery incorrectly, a red light and audible tone alert you of the condition and won’t let electricity flow. When correctly connected, they illuminate green, showing that they are ready to use.
